What do you think of a NASCAR gay wedding?

My friend who is gay is having his wedding somewhere special and was hoping he could have it at NASCAR event. Do they have a place to have a ceremony or do they just go there for the reception?

1. That would be interesting. Maybe a race out in CA would be cool for them. The best people to ask are Mongo or Rainbow warrior

2. The same thing that I think of any gay wedding.

3. Whatever floats their boat. A race weekend would probably make a better honeymoon than anything.

Since people make fun of race fans and call them "Rednecks", getting married around a bunch of "Drunken Rednecks" is one bad idea.

4. Weddings are held at many NASCAR events, usually before any official activities begin.. Usually in the grass between the pit wall, and the track..
And I have seen more than one wedding at times..
You need to check with the particular track..
They may say no based on the law in that State..
Unless it would be legal in the State the track is located in.. It might help if you call the track yourself to find out (it would be the tracks decision) about their policies..

5. That might be dangerous,around drunk rednecks as a previuos poster said but then again the movie "Deliverence" was filmed down there.

6. Sorry but since you want to know what I think then I will tell you. I don't believe in gay weddings. I don't mean to condemn you publicly but as a Christian the Bible teaches us to inform people of where they are sinning and it also tells to do it in public. It is wrong to have sex with the a same sex person. Marriage is meant to be a holy thing. God instructed people to have only one woman and he intended for it to stay holy and for it to be a man and a woman marrying only. The Bible strictly states that a man is not to lay with another man and a woman is not suppose to lay with another woman.

Sorry if this is disturbing as an answer but you wanted to know what everyone's opinion was and that is mine. I don't agree with same sex marriages. I think it is a mental illness and should be treated as one. Even gay people will tell you that it was something they were born with and can't help it so that means it is indeed a mental illness.

7. I think that is very lovely for you to consider us in that spectacle, but no one will even notice, because we will be too busy watching the race. That is pretty funny though, about how gay people are so perplexed upon their etiquette. Not that I would know anything about that!
